NiteRider began by accident and by necessity. Tom Carroll, a fanatical athlete and outdoors man from Southern California had a problem. The best surf around was better at night, after the crowds had gone home. Since there was nothing even remotely usable to light up the waves, Tom had to design a solution from scratch.
A builder and designer by trade and inventor by passion, Tom was obsessed with making his lights the best. His second attempt defined everything that a light for "extreme sports" had to be - waterproof, very bright, lightweight and hands free. What he found is that it not only worked for surfing, but for the long bike trails that accessed those perfect, hidden breaks.
Tom and his wife Veronica built NiteRider at their kitchen table, working hard all day and then coming home to design, assemble and ship their lights by night. To this day, they still run NiteRider - designing and building the lights with the same meticulous attention to detail to ensure their customers have the best product available.

The NiteRider® Lumina™ 1200 Boost provides enough light that it can be used in just about all riding conditions, whether it be on the road, on your favorite mountain biking trail, or hand-held in Walk Mode.
Specifically designed to meet the needs of riders in all cycling categories, the Lumina™ 1200 Boost features the Boost Mode light setting.
Simply double click the power button, giving you the option to operate your light at maximum light output! And utilizing a CREE™ LED at 6000k, means you’ll get what most consider to be the best LEDs available on the market today.
These high performance LEDs are extremely reliable, with no filament to break or burn out.
With the all new custom engineered collimator optics, the Lumina™ 1200 Boost projects a beam pattern that provides a generous widespread and even beam pattern of 1200 brilliant lumens!
The high-strength head light body casing is comprised of lightweight aluminum and Dupont® Fiberglass reinforced nylon that is highly durable.

The NiteRider® Solas™ 250 uses two powerful LEDs to produce an amazing 250 lumens of light output.
It features 4 modes (2 flash / 2 steady) and is USB rechargeable.

Once we have received cleared payment we endeavour to dispatch all items as soon as possible. UK orders are sent using Royal Mail 1st Class service, or Royal Mail Signed For service for more valuable orders. We can also offer a next day delivery service at an extra cost. International orders are sent using Royal Mail International Priority service, or Royal Mail International Signed/Tracked service for more valuable orders. Great care is taken with packing each item to ensure safe delivery to you. We can provide a discount on postage for multiple purchases but please contact us before payment is made so that we can send you the invoice showing the total cost. If your item/s fail to arrive within a few days, please contact your local postal sorting office first as they may be holding it there.
