Many
competitors bulkhead fittings use an o-ring or a flat washer gasket for
sealing. Their fittings are prone to leaks when tightened because the
o-rings and washers can expand and be squeezed out of position. Unlike
most other bulkhead fittings on the market, the better bulkhead fitting
uses a special ringed gasket for easy no-creep, reliable connections.
It can be used on containers with wall thickness up to 3/16 inch.
Available in 5 sizes for 3/16 ID hose, 1/4 ID hose, 5/16 ID hose, 3/8 ID hose or 1/2 ID hose.
Requires a 1/2 diameter hole for installation.
Not recommended for use with petroleum based fuels and solvents.
