When replacing, mark the original unit on the arm, measure from pin to pin, remove the worn Tie rod end, and replace with new one, thread it on to the mark you made, double check the measurement from pin to pin, Then install the arm, tighten the castle nut, ensure you replace the split pin. If you are not totally comfortable with the measurement, it is recommended to get a professional Wheel alignment.
