About 1000 B.C., there was a cruel King, named Cheo, who ruled tyranically over many Chinese tribes. One tribe not under his rule, Hsi-chi, was governed by Marquis Hsi pa in a place free from sorrow. People escaping King Cheo's terrible rule would flee to Hsi-chi. To stop this Cheo assigned villains and murderers to conquer Hsi-chi. Marquis Shi-pa appointed Chiang tai-kung as his generalissimo to defend his tribe, who turned hired Chen-li yen a clairvoyant Yang-chi and others to assist him. Together they raised troops to resist Cheo's aggression.

The War began, King Cheo's troops were better trained than those defending Hsi-chi. Disaster struck Chien-li-yen's eyes were hurt, preventing him from performing his powers and Yang-chi was swallowed by a serpent. Generalissimo Chiang was terribly defeated in battle.

Chiang held a big funeral for his deceased troops. Suddenly, the evil serpent appeared again, intending to swallow Chiang but instead fell to earth and died and to everyone's surprise, Yang-chi crawled out from the serpent's belly. With the help of his revived assistants, Generalissimo Chiang was able to fight back. Cheo's troops causing King Cheo to become so outraged that he burned himself to death. The war over, peace was restored once again in Hsi-chi.

This story of Chinese Gods has been told from generation to generation Bruce Lee lives on in this new animated feature, an entertainment spectacular with battles and monsters, in which the artist's pen has captured all the excitement of ancient Chinese legends. Bruce Lee's tremendous talents are used against a backdrop of vivid colors and breathtaking artwork to save the day once again in "Chinese Gods."
