I really like that the clock itself runs off of a battery. It comes with an ac adapter to plug into an outlet to power the light and has a lamp like on/off switch for it. My 10 year old turns it on when he gets up early in the morning and it acts like a night light and a clock. It's very bright. The face is plastic so it's not the highest quality of clocks but it's exactly what I was looking for and works well. It does tick but isn't loud.

I really didn't notice the black cord. I wasn't even thinking about it needing a cord due to the neon. But that is on me! I just prefer cordless wall clocks. It was o.k. looking??????.perhaps a little on the cheap side. I returned it.

Love this clock! We needed a clock that was easy to read in a dark bedroom at night. This product is great. The clock works on a battery while the blue light runs on electricity, so placement near an electrical outlet is a must. Some might think this blue light is overly bright and fills our average sized room with too much blue. But our family loves it. Great as a night light. (The second hand was in the box, but there was no visible way to attach it within the sealed clock face. Still no complaints since the second hand was not an important feature to our family.)

I love this clock. I've been redecorating my apartment with whatever fancies me. This clock caught my eye for my little office (3rd bedroom) and it's perfect! I have a tapestry that has blue in the picture and the light makes it almost glow. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is it's a little louder than I had hoped for but it's not really and issue. It's quieter than the clock this one replaced.

Bought this one to replace identical one from about 5 or 6 years ago that finally died. The neon is perfect to act as an accent light in the room, and the illumination and high contrast make the numbers really stand out for easy reading from a distance.

I love the look of this clock, and the cool blue light when you turn on the neon. It is the perfect light to have on for late night TV, as it is not bright, but one can still navigate around. My only comment about the quality is that when admiring it from anywhere but directly in front the neon tubes are 'cut off' by the brackets, make the neon look segmented. That is so minor though, as it is a gorgeous clock.

I highly recommend this product. I had the same clock years ago when I was a little kid and I had it for years and the on and off switch for the neon stopped working on it I happened to find this clock scrolling through Walmart and I had to buy it the neon is not too bright especially if you want to use it as a nightlight it is just right and it keeps perfect time it is a very nice looking clock totally worth the money

Purchased for a 13 year old boys room. Love it - great quality. It is bight but you can turn off the light when you want to sleep. Good alternative for little ones too who want more light at night. So far so good but it's only been a week. Price beats out Amazon by a long shot!

It is most definitely a throwback to the old 50's diner neon wall clock ... Bought this for my roommate and the blue one for myself .. we both love them BUT !! Beware , the neon is Bright ... it lights up the room at nite like a lamp , much brighter than expected . I got them so we could see the time at nite after lights out , but it is bright enough to see the other clocks too . So , I used gorrilla black tape to cover the front edge and sides .. leaving only the face of the clock exposed .. and now perfect !! The clock is great in larger rooms .. it definetly puts out a beautiful light . If in the kitchen you can get around without another light on easily . Love the clocks , just wish they sold some with a cover to dim it down like I made .. cuz in small rooms it is a bit much .

Using this clock in the game room. Teen boys like the look. I like that they can clearly see the time. Very slight ticking-sound is noticeable when everything is quiet... which is rare in the gaming room but might be frustrating in a bedroom or study.

Works great, I would have preferred a pull string for the on off switch to the blue light but hey for $20 im not going to complain... side note the clock mechanism itself runs on a AA battery... and the blue light if you want it on runs on an outlet...

Lights up 10x10 room. Great for Seniors or kids that want a little more than a night light. Has switch in the cord. Great value for the money. Just make sure you see the cord in a separate box taped inside the box. Clock works on battery but need electricity for light

I had this clock before (back in the 2000s) before I gave it away after I had moved. It was (and still is) my all-time #1 favorite clock. I even added beaded artwork around it (mid-century style). Definitely buying another one for my new place. :-)

After having an identical clock for two or three years, I decided to find and purchase a SECOND ONE.However, they were all too expensive -- as high as $85 !!So I gave up the chase -- ubtil now.While looking for other merchandise, I came upon THIS CLOCL --and IMMEDIATELY put it in my 'shopping cart'The twin clocls bracket my projection screen and double as night vision illumination while I watch a movie or other entertainment in my living room.I would highly recommend using them -- especially if you want to create the ambiance of an old classical theater -- like the Paramount Theater on the Boardwalk (in the Convention Hall) in Asbury Park, NJ.

I purchased one of these over two years ago for myself right about the time my son was born. In the end, I gave this clock to my son as a night light within his room due that the neon puts off pretty good light.I purchased this new clock due that his previous one's neon quit working. The cord had a small break in it at the switch and rather than run the risk of him or anyone else get shocked by it, I replaced it. It has worked rather nicely.

Really love the clock. Makes a great mood light/nite light. Pretty durable ( survived being dropped on the counter). Nice that the light has a separate control and can be turned on/off independently while clock runs on battery.

I use the clock to help me know if the freezer is still getting power. Rarely the GFCI will pop off and things start defrosting in the freezer. I needed a nice looking bright light requiring very little power. This neon clock meets the requirement.

Ordered this blue neon clock for my teenage son since I could never find it in the local store. I could find pink ones but the blue ones were never available for some reason. It came faster than expected and in great condition. He absolutely loves it. The neon is nice and bright blue but not so much it's too bright. Can even use as a night light. The cord contains a switch to easily turn on and off the light. The clock itself runs on one AA battery. I would definitely recommend.

I had to replace an old one, 'cause the ac-adapter went-out. I've seen them in the store at Wal-Mart for like 20 years for $19.95, but apparently they decided not to stock them anymore ... so I found it on-line (wal-mart.com) for $16.95, had it shipped to store (no shipping fee) and it all worked-out just fine!

I was hesitant to get this clock cause I assumed it would be cheaply made and not look good...I was dead wrong! This thing arrived at my door in about a week, it was well wrapped and boxed, and it is a solidly built clock with heavy plastic and glass encased, one problem with true neon is the oils from your skin will blemish and spot it, not with this one. Very vivid color and very nice addition to my home! My one and only issue...I'm not so crazy about the wire for the electricity, but I think I'll live. :)

the clock is great. when I first received it I was worried. It appears to be a white neon light with a blue cover. I was afraid it wouldnt have a very nice color. But it does. A very nice blue. Would recommend.

This clocked worked once I inserted a battery. The blue neon light worked as soon as I connected into my outlet. I love this clock it is so retro and looks perfect in my ranch home. I have it over a larger doorway in my dining room next to my kitchen area. The light I prefer to switch off by my wall switch when I go to bed. I like to turn it on if I get up at night to eat some munchies. The soft glow blue neon you could leave on night if you wish because it is mellow enough to put you back to sleep when you return to your bedroom. I just love this clock! Its retro looking and I believe will be one of Wal-Mart best sellers. It is truly awesome for the price!

This Blue Neon wall clock is a really cool-looking clock. The neon blue tubing is what truly gives it a unique look and separates it from the ordinary standard wall timepiece. One AA battery, (not included), is required for the clock to work and the included power cord allows for the clock to light up. There is also an on/off switch to control the neon tube lighting - on or off. We like ours on 24/7. I mounted our 11-inch cool neon clock in the family room up on the fireplace mantle adjacent to our wall-mounted t.v. The clock is bright enough so one can easily tell the time but not so bright that it interferes with any of the programming. Attached photos...

love the clock ,,BUT hate fed x because they never deliver on time .. Also I don't believe they should throw packages on the ground 15 feet from my porch when I am standing at the door with a mask on !!!!! Will never buy again if fed x is going to deliver packages ..

We have always had a clock with a back light in our garage, to light up the garage. It's a great idea. Our last one stopped working. My go-to is always Walmart. I searched and found this one. I bought it, put a battery in and climbed onto a ladder to hang above the door. After 30 minutes, I went out and the light was out. I climbed up the ladder and it was plugged in. I tried several things, but ultimately the light was out after being on for 30 minutes. Thirty-minutes. This is my 2nd of these clocks in 9yrs. I ruined the glass of the 1st with bug spray but last month, when I saw it was still only -$20, I grabbed another. Keeps time stylishly and reminds me of stores in 'smalltown', USA at night. It gets lots'a notice from visitors to my kitchen! You'll notice 5 brackets around the face~ on the back, unscrew 5 small Phillips screws and remove the blue plastic ring. Then the glass face unseats to give you access to the dial. I painted the hands with Bic Whiteout so the hands would be visible from a distance. (You'll see what I mean when you get yours!)
