Rosy Andreasi-Verdier (French, 1934-2015).
Eight graphite and charcoal nude l;ife study sketches. Edge damage to the sheets is evident in the photos but these could be trimmed for framing.
On thin paper. Some sheets signed. Sheet sizes average at about 32 x 23 cm.  M
ay be tube rolled for posting or robustly flatpacked.

All sheets in this collection bear age related marks, production related marks, edge knocks and scuffs, corner curls or folds, small edge tears etc.
We may tape any larger tears on the back to prevent further spready during shipping. They were kept in the artists own study portfolio until sold following her death.

Her full name was Anne Marie Rosy Andreasi, born at the very end of 1934 in Chatillon, Paris. Died 2015 in Lesigny, Seine-et-Marne.   Andreasi attended the highly respected École de Duperré in Paris and the collection of her work we are currently selling dates from this time, some of the sheets were dated early-mid 1950s. Most sheets were signed, and came in her own original art portfolio with her own identification label. Whilst studying, she lived at 4, Rue des Pavillons, Chatillon sous Bagneux, just south of the River Seine in Paris, in the 20th arrondissement.

Andreasi went on to work for major name French magazines illustrating fashion, and eventually served as Editor in Chief for "L'Officiel de la couture et de la mode de Paris" - a magazine which around the 1950's, with haute couture's revival, was considered the most influential magazine in French fashion.
