This is a 1:40 (large) scale, Air Power-brand Lockheed P-38 Lightning die cast aircraft in its original box,

 and sealed in its original plastic packing material (Model Number 99333). 

 Note that this is larger than the more common 1:48 scale Air Power version of the die cast aircraft also made by Toy Zone, Inc. 

The model is all metal die cast with retractable landing gear, detailed cockpit, armaments under the wings and includes a separate stand (also in the sealed packing). 

The aircraft is about 11 1/2 inches long and has a wingspan of about 16 inches.
