- This Hood weighs apx. 45 lbs
- 2" Cowl Height
- Excellent Fit & Quality
- This was produced off our steel 2" cowl hood that has been out for several years.
- There was never an issue on all the 2" steel hoods we have sold.
- Mounting Hardware Included
- This will Bolt Right Up with Factory Hinges and Safety Catch
- PLEASE NOTE:
- You will need to remove either the Hood Springs or Hood Struts as the pressure of those are intended for the weight of a steel hood.
- Using them could result in too much upward pressure on the fiberglass hood resulting in cracks.
- You will need to use a prop rod or some other means to keep the hood open
- Mounting Studs are incorporated into the fiberglass frame and come with corresponding Nuts and Washers
- Hood Release / Lock Latch "Bar" is also Included
- Please Note:
- All Fiberglass products require minimal prep-work!!
- Always TEST FIT PRIOR to PAINTING!
- While No 2 cars are the same they should be close to your original hood location but adjustments will need to be made to align the hood correctly.
- Some trimming maybe required to achieve a desired fit.
- Even though these come White Gel Coated, Filling in Imperfections, Sanding, Priming & Seal Coating will be required.

- OPEN YOUR SHIPMENT AND INSPECT FOR DAMAGE PRIOR TO SIGNING!
- We have very little recourse with the carrier for damages of product that are signed for.
- WE MUST INSIST THAT YOU INSPECT THE CONTENTS PRIOR TO SIGNING.
- If there is damage, refuse the shipment and we will get a replacement out right away.
- Once you (or your body shop or anyone) sign for the shipment, you are committing to receive the merchandise in its shipped condition; therefore you own it at that point.
- They are packaged extremely well but due to the nature of freight shipments things do happen.
