KOYOMO hana Gradation Beni Flat Shadow Brush, Released January 2016, Made in Japan, New in Box

Manufactured by Tsubokawa Mouhitsu, this brush is made with Hakuototsuho Yomo, which is hair from around the shoulder area of goats, which has a moderate firmness.

The highest-quality hair for brushes, known as Koyomo, is hair that has been taken from goats living in the Yangtze region of China in the 1970s or before, and is extremely rare. Because of the rarity of this goat hair, brushes using Koyomo feel smooth on the skin and have no friction. The brushes also have a great resiliency, becoming more adapted to the user the more they are used, and as make-up brushes they are unparalleled.

Brush comes with a special presentation box, made from recycled paper from the memorial tower of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

This is a beautiful all-over eyeshadow brush with a rounded/flat tip. The volume and moderate size of the bristles make it ideal for even application. It packs on color and defines the crease, making it a wonderfully versatile brush.
