Elizabeth
Wilkes Hoey is a world renowned artist and designer. She
works in a variety of media ranging from "Angels of Healing"
greeting cards to ceramic tile paintings and creations with
feathers. She received her art training from a renowned artist
J. W. Beatie and also at the Ontario College of Art. Her works
invite you to experience the subtleties of nature. Elizabeth's
design techniques are recognized by many fine artists and established
businesses.
Her
Angel painting watercolours feature compositions of butterflies,
flowers, songbirds and angels. These works of art combine the beauty
of nature and the spiritual side of life. These Angel paintings
and specialized card designs are one the most popular items available
in our Gallery.

January 2005 the ROM will feature Elizabeth Wilkes Hoey and the history of her silk screen printing career.
Her work is featured in private homes and offices as well as in galleries such as The Royal Botanical Gardens, The Art Gallery of Ontario, Edwards Gardens, Queen’s Park, MacDonald-Stewart Art Gallery.
Elizabeth works in her home studio here at Elm Tree Centre. You can meet Elizabeth by appointment and she is always open to ideas and suggestions for your special orders.
