We include a bootable recovery CD/USB drive and also create a recovery image that is placed on a section of an internal drive or, in some cases, a USB flash drive. This recovery image allows you to 'reset' the PC back to the day you received it from us, should something go badly wrong. Software is included to allow you to create your own recovery image once you have the PC is set up to your liking, and we highly recommend you do this. Instructions for using the software are included with the pack that comes with the system.

This PC has a legitimate digital installation of Windows direct from Microsoft. This has been achieved because it comes complete with the correct COA (certificate of authenticity) either embedded in the BIOS or on an attached label. If you buy a PC without the official COA, you have no rights to the software installed and the seller violates Microsoft’s copyright and is breaking the law.  Please ensure, when comparing PCs, that you ask the seller if the PC comes with the legitimate COA. If it does not, don’t buy it and report the seller. All my PCs come with the correct licence and COA.

Unlike many PC's on eBay, this will work straight out the box. Everything is installed and working, all the drivers, all the latest versions of software, all just works. It is just like buying from a computer store, except for a much better PC!! My descriptions can be a tad long; however, they contain lots of information regarding exactly what it is you are buying, and I urge you to read through it all to see what an outstanding package is included. Would make an excellent, fast, reliable PC. Top of the range components, none of your cheap PC World or Curry's Advent or Acer rubbish here. Built for the corporate business world where they take no-nonsense, these are quality machines. Peerless for quality, and that is precisely what you get here. Superb build quality, reliability, and performance. Any engineer will tell you that they use only the best of components, which is why they cost more, but as always, you get what you pay for.

This is a superb laptop PC, nice and quick, with a fantastic software build and in good condition. It will have the odd rub mark/bump/scratch here and there, but these are purely cosmetic. Please note, however, it is not being sold as brand new, and therefore you should expect some signs of use. If there is anything major, I will advise in the description. Please refer to my large pictures. You can zoom right in on them to see the system up close. I have nothing to hide and so provide clear pictures of the actual item for sale. My 100% record gives testimony to the accuracy and honesty of my descriptions.

Overall, this laptop is in good condition. There will be the odd scuff marks/scratches/bumps on the outer edges and lid. Inside, the keyboard, touchpad, and mouse buttons are all in good condition with only minimal signs of use. As far as I can see, the screen has no dead pixels and is clear and crisp. The backlit keyboard is a standard QWERTY layout (UK).

This laptop comes with a standard Dell battery, which is reporting around 1 hour use at full load test. We charge and test the battery for a minimum of 45 minutes and if it lasts less than that, we replace it. If it lasts more than 45 mins, we class it as good. Please note that batteries can go at any time and warranties do not include this as it is classed as a consumable product.

The PC is personalised for the new owner, including a welcome pack, rescue disks, recovery partition, and personalised paperwork plus all the latest Windows updates / other software updates as required.

• Intel Core i7 6600U SkyLake 64 bit hyper thread 6th generation processor with 2 cores, 4 threads (shows up as four processors in device manager) each of the cores running at 2.60 GHz (3.40 GHz with Turbo Boost – Processor automatically engages turboboost if the load requires it). That's 5.20 GHz of processing power (6.80 GHz with Turbo Boost) at optimum conditions. The laptop also has 4 MB L3 cache. The job of the CPU cache is to anticipate data requests so that when the user clicks on a frequently used program, for example, the instructions required to run that program are at the ready, stored in the cache. When this happens, the CPU can process the request without delay, drastically improving computer performance. The more cache, the better the performance. Most laptops have 1 or 2 MB cache. This superfast laptop has 4 MB.
• 6 month return to base warranty with us for complete peace of mind. The warranty covers hardware failure but excludes the battery as this is a consumable product. Email support provides for any issue during the entire life of the laptop.
