Canadian Poetry Magazine
Vol. 11, No. 2
[Toronto] The Canadian Authors Association, December 1947.

8vo (5 3/4 in x 8 1/8 in). 53 pages, plus three pages of advertisements.

Includes three poems by Malcolm Lowry, Old Freighter in an Old Port, Port Moody, and Indian Arm, which according to Woolmer have not been reprinted. Published ten months after the publication of Lowry's first novel, Under the Volcano.

Good in the original stapled, printed wrappers. As seen in the photographs that accompany this listing, this "magazine" has wrappers that are chipped and worn. The largest chip--about 1/4 inch x 4 1/2 inches from the top right edge of the front cover--has been saved and laid in. The other most significant wear/loss is at the top and bottom of the spine, as seen in the photos. The interior pages are clean and complete, and the binding remains tight. An acceptable copy of a scarce, very fragile title.

The photographs of this item were taken in natural light with an iPhone 6, and have not been retouched or adjusted other than being cropped.
