An elegantly woven handmade wool and silk Persian I'sfahan rug circa 1910, measuring 230 x 145cm (7'5"x4'7"). Stunning curvilinear Shah Abbasi central medallion decorated with a field of arabesques, palmettes, foliage in the dark red background which enclosed by similarly detailed borders in naturally dyed blue colours. An elaborate design with perfectly matching colours has brought about an incredible decorative look to this magnificent rug.
