A rare find, found in an Australian deceased estate. This item was stored in a very old cigar box with many other WW1 era items.

It is made from fine lace material , with presumably hand embroidered red ensign flags of Britain. A decorative piece, I am not exactly sure what this would have been used for? perhaps to embelish a hankerchief, or gloves ??
Approx 7 x 5cms

     It is in good overall vintage condition, .. It has some marks discolouration  soiling associated with age/ storage, and there are some tears to the fine lace right side edge..
