Low price guarantee, endless warrantee. Considering another keyless seller?  Ask them about the origin and extent of testing of their keyless editions as well as the length of their warranty. Many hobbyist tinkerers can play with editing the software to make it seem keyless, but they can unknowingly miss additional mid-game key checks and/or cause game errors that don't appear until certain points during the playing of particular games or use of other functions. Compare description content, feedback comments, and other Megatouch parts for sale as indicators of reliability and long-term commitment to the product, and note that the original factory parts division of the former Megatouch manufacturer refers their customers to us specifically. 

Anyone offering services or creating add-on's that won't work with keyless are just trying to keep selling keys, as there's no other reason to block keyless. So-called "forever" keys mean that one key must only be used with the same drive forever, and if actually dead it cannot be used with widely available 100% original Megatouch software anymore. These keys require one hobbyist's "key saver" drive programming and cannot be put in other machines.

NOTE! Megatouch requires unique and specific vintage hardware, some parts harder and harder to find, so you can't run them on ANY typical PC, new or old.  The software was intentionally written to prevent use with standard PC systems.

Drives here function as good or better than any other and are guaranteed indefinitely!! Free tech support indefinitely, and many other parts always in-stock for your machine! Even if security keys lasted forever, why be required to have one that must stay paired with your software drive forever?? And, why pay more for that? Drives purchased here can be freely swapped anytime without keeping track of which key goes with which drive. Key sockets are left empty! No quirks, no glitches EVER (except those that were always present in OEM Megatouch.) This product has been widely distributed with never even one software fault reported by any user.

Some guys who would like to keep getting big bucks for keys make desperate accusations about keyless that are either false or depend on the source of the keyless version. Clearly, they have not yet acquired one of our drives. Our keyless revisions have been meticulously tested, and what's better proof than a hundred happy buyers, home users and commercial operators alike all around the world? We are fanatically perfectionistic collectors and game museum curators ourselves, and these versions of keyless were created first for our own use. Further, our keyless is guaranteed, and we will be here to honor that guarantee and continue offering generous customer support for many years to come (note that our ebay account was established in the last millennium!) Sure, we've seen keys last over 20 years, but we've also seen keys die in 5 years. Think about this..., whenever your key does finally die, what will be the scarcity and condition of replacement keys all those years from now?? I'm sure glad the Space Invaders, Asteroids, PacMan, and Tempest machines we've had for 30+ years are all keyless!!  Plus, even standard keyed name-brand SSD's and HDD's are cheaper here!  Will the other guys lower their prices and take custom orders to compete? Yes, they certainly have, and if they put us out of business with lower prices and more options, thats okay, since we have plenty of other things to do. But until then, we'll be here to help Megatouch and Infinity lovers (just like us!) the best that we can. :)

Pictures of drives just a sampling of more numerous choices available and are not necessarily the precise brand you will receive. In some cases, CF cards are easier for those who like to switch editions frequently.  2014 is the last and final update year for ION with some great newer games, but it's missing a few favorites from earlier editions, so we recommend having both 2014 and 2006.5 to swap between anytime for the best of both worlds!

This is a replacement solid-state drive (SSD) or hard-disk drive (HDD) for repair, update, or downdate of your Megatouch ION commercial touchscreen game machine. Choose SATA, PATA/IDE, 2.5"SSD, CF, mSATA, 2.5"/3.5" HDD, or most any drive type depending on your motherboard model and cable type. Best of all, say goodbye to security keys for orphaned, obsolete machines no longer operated commercially. Easier/cheaper access to parts/upgrades means more machines saved, expansion of the hobby, and growing renaissance of Megatouch in the home collector's market.

Replace your old HDD unit with a faster and more reliable drive of whichever type drive you prefer that will run with security key sockets empty. Newer, solid-state drives are faster and more reliable, and 2.5" drives mount and fit exactly the way your old drive did. As an alternative, one picture here shows possible hanging of CF card and adapter in an EVO cabinet.

Power-off and simply unplug and remove the old whiney, dead or otherwise undesirable HDD.

Plug in the new drive (Includes adapter if needed. New drives that are smaller than the original will need zip ties or velcro tape to mount with care to protect circuitry.) 

Power-on. (The very first time, allow machine to reboot itself automatically a few times to get acquainted with the new software.)
