This pot was made by Bigei. The long and famous master potter from the Tokoname region. This is an old model, he doesn’t make and hasn’t made in a long time.

His larger size pots, like this one, is a usable and desirable piece to have.

*these are just so tough to find these days. And very desirable when you finally get one…hence the price.
