Chevron Trade Bead

Aka Rosetta Bead

Chevron Beads were made for a long duration of time from the 1400's

to 1900's. Country made is Italy. Originally 7 glass layers and then when the

beads became very popular, and production was raised the Venetian made them 6 layer beads

as we are very accustomed to. The penny in the photo is 19mm and for size reference only.
