Genuine antique business card from Haymarket,Sydney,Australia from about 1889 or a bit later maybe.

  The  card is for a dental surgeon named J.T. Osmond.

You can find him mentioned in a Google search.

   For example,in 1889 he was writing to Council to complain about sand  blocks being put on the footpath ...Council replie3d that these were to prevent people slipping.

   Also there was a news report and court  case re a woman  patient,Mrs. Lang,who died as a result of  chloroform being used by the anaesthetist.
