Each year the Royal Canadian mint
puts out prooflike or brilliant uncirculated sets. This 6 coin set is the regular 2022 PL set. This set contains the classic coin designs!!!

**Since Queen Elizabeth died in Sept. 2022 the Susanna Blunt effigy on our coins will no longer be used and King Charles will be on 2024 coins. For 2023 the current obverse will be used but with a modification: It is being called a "transition obverse" and there will be a double date of 1952-2022 (symbolizing the Queen's 70 yr reign) and there will also be a diamond arrangement of 4 dots between the two dates and they each represent one of the 4 Queen effigies used on our coins from 1952 - 2022.
In early 2012 the penny was discontinued by the mint. This set contains no penny.
Note that the photos I post in my listings are all from my own inventory. However, for items like this one where the products are brand new from the mint and are identical the photo posted in the listing is a STOCK photo meaning that the photos represent the item you will be getting. Normally there is almost no difference between the photo you see in the listing and the actual product you are sent. Certificate numbers (if shown in a photo) are an example of something that will not be the same in the item you receive.
