Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Haviland Limoges Schleiger 83-1 E.B. Taylor Blue Flowers Single (1) Salad Plate. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots!
 
The salad plate measures approximately 8.5” in diameter and most pieces in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “H&Co L France, Haviland 8c Co, Limoges, Pour, The E.B. Taylor Co. Richmond Va.” Some pieces in the set may have a slight variation in the backstamp. The plate has a white base (H&Co Blank 9) and has a blue/grey/brown floral pattern. While the plates do not, some pieces in the set also have a gold rim and/or verge. The pattern has been discontinued with the years of manufacture unknown.
 
Condition: Overall, the salad plates are in very good condition for their age but may show signs of light use and may have light utensil markings and/or cleaning scratches, or very minor flea bites from age and fragility. I do not feel that the condition of the pieces have been compromised at all due to any of these imperfections; however, with the estimated age of the pieces, I felt that it should be noted. The plates were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues were noticed upon a thorough inspection.
