Here is a nice tall square orange color pyroglazed one third quart milk bottle from the Adams Dairy Company Co. Dairy Farm dairy farm that once was operated by Mr. Adams and his family and located in historic Oneida NY New York in Madison Co. County NY. Pyro is different front and back. Front says, "Adams Dairy Company Oneida NY". The back says, "Help Us Give You Better Service By Returning Bottles Daily". Pyro is complete and bright. This authentic milk bottle is from 1955 and is in excellent condition with no cracks, dings, chips or casewear. A nice addition for the collector of Oneida NY New York or Madison Co. County NY milk bottles. I have been told that this is a very hard to find milk bottle from Oneida NY.

One third quart milk bottles were used in factories where a half pint of milk was not enough to quench the thirst of the factory worker at lunch time. A one third quart measure was only a legal measure in 12 states including NY.

Pyroglazed milk bottles come filled with white milk bottle beads or white polyfill. Embossed bottles are not filled with beads. Bottles come with original milk bottle caps. Caps will be from the same dairy only when available.
