The 1965 Sox & Martin altered wheelbase Plymouth, a replica of their "sedan" car, with many differences from the "hardtop" AFX car previously made. This is release #15 in the Sox & Martin series.

Correct Torque Thrust mags on the front & Keystone Klassics on the rear, with the following differences from the hardtop version: The sedan body of course, plus the blue stripes on hood & trunk, headlamp covers, no turn signal lamps, painted bumper (were fiberglass painted on real car), plus the parachute, and of course it's "injected" under the lift off hood (with pins).

The detailed interior has the single van style bucket seat, a tach on the dash, cloth seat belts with latches, and even has the roll bar, parachute pull handle, and cable.

The detailed chassis has the K-member moved forward, deep oil pan, 4 tube headers, 4 speed, frame rails added, floor pans changed, dual electric fuel pumps, real rubber fuel lines, and Dana 60 rear end with chrome cover. See parachute & real metal leaf springs (above)!

The detailed motor is a race ready fuel injected 426 Hemi fully wired and plumbed, with a coil mounted on the inner fenderwell, fuel injection pump tucked down by the core support, and real metal brake line going to the master cylinder on the detailed firewall.

This car has short enough injector stacks that they fit under the hood, as when first raced. The 4 speed cars ran them short, while the automatic cars ran them tall, and lengths were actually worked on during the season.

These also feature an opening trunk, big rear mounted truck battery, driveshaft that rotates when you spin the rear wheels, and working suspension. This is a very detailed car made as a limited run of just 1,104 produced for Supercar Collectibles as 1965 Plymouth AWB - S&M Issue #15 in special packaging.

Brand new in new box. Will have slight shelf wear.
