2021-2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Peter Jackson's The Lord of Rings films, which is increasing the popularity of these collectors' items. And I've noticed a serious uptick in interest / purchase of my Lord of the Rings TCG cards since the release of The Rings of Power -- perhaps because the new series has re-ignited the passion of long-time fans -- or perhaps because it reminds fans that the Peter Jackson vision was, indeed, the best :)
