I bought a batch of Carello light fittings ten years ago from an Italian auto jumble for an Aston DB4 Zagato replica I was building.

Two versions of this fitting were made, the lightweight polished aluminium items (No. 11 680 580) and the heavier chromed version (16 616 580). This pair are the polished aluminium version which, I was told, were very rare and made for competition cars such as the Aston DB4 Zagato and the Ferrarri 250 GTO and 250 SWB.

Many original Aston Zagato are now fitted with non original Lucas items as the Carello items were easily damaged because of their exposed position and original items were complicated to source.

This pair have original Carello lenses (with some crazing) and the original rubber mounting plate. I also include a pair of spare white lenses marked IUNTINI.

This pair were left over from the Zagato project as were a chromed pair with amber lenses which I am selling under another posting. I paid a fortune for these ten years ago, hence I am asking a fortune for them now!
