Description

The cap for young mushrooms is whitish in color, smooth, slightly pubescent, semicircular in shape. With growth, the color becomes brown, dark brown, bare wrinkled, and in shape from convex-flat to pillow-shaped and with a diameter of up to 10 '(25 cm). The leg is barrel-shaped or slightly thickened at the base of a cylindrical shape up to 7 '(18 cm) in length. Creamy surface with a soft mesh pattern at the base. The pulp is dense, hard, white, not changing color on the cut and fracture. The taste is pleasant, the aroma of mushroom is full. The culinary application is quite extensive.

To taste, it is deservedly recognized as the most delicious mushroom of all types of ceps. Small mushrooms are most delicious in marinated form. Dishes from dried mushrooms are very tasty and fragrant. Properly dried spruce porcini mushrooms have a delicate creamy cream shade.
