This a Burlington Northern modern 50 foot boxcar without roof walk completely manufactured by Micro-Trains. Only 100 of each car were produced. This car is number 44 of the Joint Line Series and NSC special run number 4-94.

In 1918 the USRA combined the tracks between Denver and Pueblo to form the Joint Line.  "Greenland" is the ninth in a series honoring the trains and stations of the Joint Line.  It is thought that the name "Greenland" was first used by Helen Hunt Jackson, author of "Ramona, and "A century of Dishonor".  She noted the beauty of the area while traveling by train along what would later become the Joint Line.

The car is a Burlington Northern 50 foot boxcar manufactured in March of 1975 by American Car and Foundry's Saint Louis car shop.  The car is painted BN green with black and white printing.  The car has end printing.
