Description: Buyer will receive the exact antique British porcelain puce & yellow aster floral swags with gilt leaves pattern plate shown in the photographs.

Note: this pattern was a known as #540 by Minton but also This exact pattern is shown on a signed SPODE circa 1815 teapot in figure # 1475 in “An Anthology of British Teapots” by Miller and Berthoud. The pattern matches exactly even how the upper right flower in each Swag cluster is crossed through with a gold gilt branch.

It is a dense and heavy porcelain body with straw colored translucency. The foot ring bottom is neatly left dry. Unsigned but attributed to Spode based upon the reference cited above.

Size: 6-1/4” diameter x 1” tall at rim

Condition Report: Used. Good condition for its age, no chips, no cracks. It has some scratches and rubbing of the glaze in the center and general gold gilt rubbing loss throughout. This item has no significant damages, but it does show use-wear consistent with it’s age and prior utilization.

As always due to age and prior usage, the item may have slight imperfections such as minor scuffs, scratches, trim wear, and/or slight manufacturing defects. Please view all photos as they are part of this condition report.
