ORIGINAL 1911 JIM THORPE CARLISLE INDIAN FOOTBALL PHOTO WITH 3 OTHER PLAYERS
      This listing is for an ORIGINAL, 4-1/4" BY 3-1/2" glossy black & white photo of Jim Thorpe in Carlisle Indians football team uniform with 3 other players. (Jim Thorpe (1911-1912 years on Fabulous Redmen of Carlisle) an American athlete & Olympic gold medalist and member of the Sac and Fox Nations, 1st Native America to win a gold medal for the U.S.) The back of the photo is marked in pen Arcasa (Alex Arcasa, Colville) Powell (Stancil Powell, Cherokee), Welch (Gus Welch, Chippewa), Thorpe (James Frances Thorpe, Sac and Fox) and the year 1911. This photo was found in an estate collection as well as a hard cover book FABULOUS REDMEN by John S. Steckbeck (which I have listed separately). The photo is in very good condition, some storage edge wear and when packed SECURELY for shipping, the weight is 4 ounces. 3) We ship on Mondays and Fridays only, and payment must reach us by 3pm EST. If bidding on additional items, let us know and we will hold items for shipping discount. Do not pay if buying multiple items (wait for my invoice) or you will not receive the discount.

4) We do not add insurance unless you pay for it. Signature confirms may be added on any item over $50.00 in value if we feel that it is needed.   

PAYMENT

Payment must reach us within 48 Hours of auctions end. (eBay automated system in place) If payment, or contact, isn't received within the time frame, an eBay dispute will be opened. This dispute will be closed, and the item will be re-listed. If you have a problem, please contact us and we will try to help resolve it.

RETURNS

All items are sold as-is and sales are final. We no longer accept returns on buyer remorse. We will take returns only if the item was not as described or pictured in the auction and if that is the case the buyer must notify us and return the item within 5 days. If our fault, we pay for return Postage. Please keep damaged package and item for return. We try to provide the most accurate and detailed information about every item listed. Photos sometimes show a hue or glare.

We charge $.75 for handling (this includes packaging and materials for US delivery) US Shipping is by United States Postal Service Only. Please note that First class mail and media mail are mailed in a bubble wrap envelope and may not be able to handle additional protection due to size constraints. We recycle shipping boxes.
