Over 16 Old(1920s, 30s, 40s) Tobacco Carton Labels – Unused  -  Two three or four (I don't recall) are different Dan Patch. Most are designed in typical 1920s or 1930s design/style of lithography. You would need definite proof to convince me that these are not old! In 1973 there was an add in a local IGA shopper for 200 or so old tobacco tins. It turned out that a guy filled the walls in his garage with them until he passed away in 1949; and there were over 1,000. Near the same era, a guy named “Wing” or something like that from Detroit, advertised a bunch of old tobacco carton labels like these. One ad. I bought them all. I thought I would put some like these in a frame and display them in my old time dance hall (I have been wanting to get this and have run out of time). I'm not encouraged regarding a dance hall here in 2021, being in my upper 80s. These are neat to look at, colorful and symbolize a colorful period in our past. I'm not happy to see them depart.
