Germany under Allied Occupation - Soviet Occupation Zone - East Saxony (Dresden)

Deutschland unter Alliierte Besetzung - Sowjetischen Besatzungszone - Ost-Sachsen (OPD Dresden)

3rd November - 5th December 1945

The imperforate stamp set with numerals of value for the East Saxony sector of the Soviet Occupation Zone, initially issued from 28 June 1945 (Michel 42 -50), was expanded between 3 November and 5 December 1945 by these 2 extra stamps.

These are an example of innominate stamps: the country, territory or jurisdiction of the issuing authority is not specified on the stamp, just the value - with no denomination!

The set was issued with two variations in gumming (x = full gum, Vollgummierung, or y = "austerity" gum, Spargummi).

The set available here is x  = full gum.
