Up for sale is a beautiful traditional still life pastel painting depicting a wove basket full of orangish red peaches. Sitting against a dark background the basket contains a total of eight visible pieces of fruit with arching green leaves behind. This painting is unsigned but appears to date from the early to mid 20th century. Resting in a vintage gold wood frame measuring 14.5 x 21.25 inches while the painting measures 9.5 x 16.5 inches and is in good condition. The frame shows cosmetic imperfections, some scuffs and scrapes but is still overall attractive and is ready to be framed and enjoyed.
