Rare Emergency stamps for tourists in Italy to use for postcards to International destinations! 

According to various sources: These stamps were issued by  Swiss Post Switzerland but were on sale in  high concentration holidaymaker areas for visitors in Italy.  Tourists could buy these special stamps in the hotels and then posted their postcards in special Swiss Post International postboxes which were serviced 3 times a week and guarenteed international delivery! These stamps could not be used for domestic Italian mail. 

Item is described as mixed condition to be on the safe side, sold as is, so please look carefully at the photos! These items are from various lots and collections and have been handled by previous owners! May have been hinged so check the backside when possible!
