A rather old bottle of Glenrothes, distilled back in 1981. The Speysider was placed in a single refill sherry cask where it was left until it was sufficiently sherried. A long 38 years passed until finally, indie bottler Adelphi thought it was about time to bottle the single malt in 2019. It was bottled at 40.2% ABV cask strength, with an outturn of just 158 bottles. A truly wonderful sherried Speysider, this.
