Wright McGill Eagle Claw Trailmaster 7 1/2 ft Fishing Rod Dave Cook 100^th Anniversary Ltd. Edition Line Size 7 Model DC-100.

It is a 4-piece fly fishing or spin casting rod (you just reverse the butt section-see next to last photo)

It was made in Denver USA by Wright McGill for Eagle Claw.

Condition is probably new, in excellent shape with no damage and the wraps and reel seat are excellent.  The included all-aluminum tube (lt has an all-plastic screw cap, not the one shown in the grouped photo-see last photo) which shows age from being handled and stored.  I have not found the rod sack but will include it if found before sale.

It is a rare and unique model DC-100, a limited edition made for and celebrating the 100th Anniversary of Dave Cook Sporting Goods stores.

It is probably a late 50’s or early 60’s model, but since Dave Cook Sporting Goods did not start until 1936 and Wright McGill started in 1925 I don’t know how they can claim 100^thAnniversary.
