Pictures on Century Bob are examples of three different ways you can tie the belts, on the hip - front and back photos, tied in the back - front and back photos, and lastly tied in the front (tucked in the belt here but are actually tucked in the pants) - front and back photos. I tie my belt the last way, but I tie it with only one loop to make it easy to take apart at the end of class. And when I make the final loop instead of using all strands from each side, I only use one strand from each side which signifies body, mind and spirit as one. There are many variations and modifications you can make to the belts if needed.
