A Super 8 Kodachrome film shot by a visitor to both Griffith Australia and Wairakei geothermal plant in New Zealand. There is footage of both locations and flights in between.
I have played the movie all the way through and the splices appear to be robust (most home movies will have splices in them and I can’t guarantee that a splice will not fail on a film that is decades old - I have repaired one splice on this).
I have recorded this by shooting during daytime against a white background and recording on an iPhone’s camera. This may may the footage look overexposed but you will find that the actual footage has better color and contrast.
I have recorded a few sections of the home movie and stitched them together into a short trailer. This isn’t the full movie.
