he souvenir bill "One Hryvnia" reproduces the design of a Ukrainian banknote with a nominal value of UAH 100, which was put into circulation on October 17, 1918. In the spring of 1918, the Ukrainian government made a decision to change the name of domestic money from `karbovanets` to` hryvnia`, wishing to emphasize the heredity of the traditions of state-building from the time of Kievan Rus. The most valuable artwork was a note denomination of 100 hryvnias, designed and executed by G. Narbut, which depicts a lush wreath of flowers, fruits, vegetables, and wheat. There are two women in a national dress with a bundle of wheat and a sickle in their hands and a man in an apron, which is based on a hammer, wrapped in a laurel. The inscriptions on the reverse side are included in a large cartoon from the plant and fruit ornament, and on the sides - decorative columns. Crochet the whole composition of a trident, framed by a laurel wreath. The banknote is made on a paper with a watermark (trident image). Its dimensions: 80 x 170 mm.
The main image of the front side of a souvenir note is the 1918 note in denomination of 100 hryvnias (face), to the left of which the inscriptions: NOT A PAYER (vertical inscription), UKRAINE (top), Events / Ukrainian / Revolution / 1917 - 1921 (below) ; the trident is the historical symbol that is located on the banknote of 1918 and the year of the banknote printing is 2018. To the left of the main image (below) is an optically variable image of 100 YEARS whose color changes from golden to green when changing the angle of the banknote. At the right edge of the souvenir note there is a section of the cross-cut element of 1918 gray-blue and a latent image 100 hidden in a brown-violet square.
The main image of the reverse side of the souvenir bank is a note of 100 hryvnias (reverse side) in 1918, to the right of which inscriptions: UKRAINE (top), to the events / Ukrainian / Revolution / 1917 - 1921/100 / ROCKS (below), to the left is a vertical inscription : NOT PAYING, and part of the cross-cut element 1918 blue. Stylized images of Ukrainian flags under the action of UV rays get a yellow-and-blue glow.
