Large Antique French Cherub~Putti Repousse Copper Bombe Table Casket Box.
A Beautiful large French copper and brass table jewellery casket, circa 1870 in date.
The casket stands on scrolled feet with four high relief panels featuring superb detailed scenes on all sides including the top of floral swags and drapes with the top and centre front embellished with cherubs~putti.
The interior is missing....but with a little tlc,ie carboard templates covered with a nice fabric will make it very usable.
True old quality craft not surpassed today.

The box is in good condition and very usable with rubbing,tarnishing, with scratches,odd dink,dent etc.The lid is a little sprained but opens and closes fine...all nothing major,but noted and commensurate with age and use.
Total overall height is 7.5" by 10.5" across with a depth overall of 6".
Weighs 2.757 kilos !!! unwrapped.
