ESTATE ANTIQUE CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL DOG PENDANT, NECKLACE

Antique Art Deco 14k gold Cavalier King Charles dog pendant. Reverse intaglio hand-carved and hand painted Spaniel dog, essex rock crystal mounted in 14k gold. Pendant is 27mm by 20mm wide and 9.5mm thick. No markings. At some point in time I believe a bail was added to this and made into a pendant from an old pair of cufflinks. Test 14k by my jeweler and guaranteed 14k gold. The yellow gold rope chain is 20 inches long. Stamped 14k on tongue of barrow clasp. I'm sure the chain was added years later. This piece is heavy at 11.6 grams. I think the pendant is from the early 1930's, maybe older. Straight out of Virginia estate. In wonderful preowned antique condition with normal wear from use over the years. I have taken close up pictures for your viewing. Items will appear larger then what they are.
