Converts a standard wired USB mouse  to RS232.  This allows a USB mouse to be used with non-USB hosts.  Provides original MS Mouse emulation (with Windows auto-detection and no scroll wheel), as well as 'extended' modes which add scroll wheel and/or less cryptic ASCII communications. 

All USBM232 devices have an LED that blinks very fast when no valid mouse is detected,  then noticeably slower when a mouse is  enumerated (USB term for connected-and-initialized). 

There are 5V only models:  USBM232-014/USBM232-016

There are  6-12V models :  USBM232-024/USBM232-026  (which can optionally be powered with a wall brick. Search for USBM-PWR)
