Hood is in an average condition. Rubber looks OK, I don't see anything damaged. Rubber has some scratches from use. Lens hood works good. This lens hood is fully operational and functions as intended. I would rate it a 8, on a scale from 1 to 10.
Please note that this hood is screw in type. It is reinforced, with rigid rim.
