THE CLADDAGH: love, loyalty and friendship ~ a claddagh is a collage of elements that represent love, which is why the Claddagh ring is considered the traditional Irish engagement and wedding ring. The hands represent trust and friendship, while the heart stands for love and the crown signifies loyalty and fidelity. The circular shape stands for eternity. "With these hands, I give you my heart and crown it with my love."

CELTIC CROSS: one of the most popular symbols of the Irish Christian faith as well as of Celtic culture and identity. The Celtic Cross distinguishes itself from a regular Christian by use of the circle in the middle, a unique design that is said to be rooted in the Celts’ pagan history but now symbolizes a spiritual compass that represents unity, totality, wholeness, and inclusion. The Celtic Cross' origins are open to varied interpretations and meanings. It is believed to have originated during the Middle Ages, with the earliest examples found in various Celtic-associated places such as Ireland. The most popular and commonly agreed upon origin story of the Celtic Cross celebrates its creation to St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick played a vital role in bringing Christianity to Ireland and converting locals to spread the faith across the country. Many of the stories claim that to connect with the pagan Celts, St. Patrick combined the traditional Christian cross with the circle, which, to the pagan Celts, was a symbol of the sun and life-giving properties. This unification of symbols and cultures enabled St. Patrick to communicate better with possible converts and made it easier to emphasize the importance of the cross, as it was linked to a symbol that the pagans already recognized.

♡ All bracelets come with instruction tips on how to best care for your stretch bead bracelet.

HANDCRAFTED JEWELRY ~ Bracelets are constructed one at a time and therefore no two will be exactly alike. Due to variations in both materials and sourced supplies, slight imperfections are to be expected. Natural beads and stones often contain flaws, blemishes, variations and inclusions. I always do my best to accurately reproduce the designs portrayed in my shop. Please note also that photography presents differently on varying devices.

 CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Your stretch bracelet is handcrafted to be strong and lasting, but elastic, stones, beads and metal plating are not eternal. Natural wear and tear will also affect your jewelry. By following these simple tips, however, you can maintain your jewelry’s beauty for as long as possible:

> DO NOT GET YOUR BRACELET WET ~ Keep your jewelry away from moisture. It is best to remove your bracelet before washing your hands, showering, exercising and swimming since contact with moisture can break down the elastic, ruin finishes and tarnish metals and charms.
> AVOID CONTACT WITH CHEMICALS ~ Perfume, soap, moisturizer, lotion, hand sanitizer or other chemicals can weaken the elastic, harm natural crystals and result in the discoloration and peeling of beads and gemstones.
> AVOID HEAT EXPOSURE ~ Leaving your bracelet in sunlight or exposed to heat for an extended period of time may lead to elastic erosion and can cause beads and metal to discolor. Remove your bracelet while exercising.
> ROLL IT ON AND OFF ~ Do not over-stretch your bracelet! It has been made with pre-stretched elastic. Over-stretching it beyond its capacity will cause it to break. To keep from overly stretching it to put it on and off, slide your fingers into the bracelet first, then gently roll the beads over your knuckles and then onto your wrist. Do the same when taking your bracelet off.
> STORE SAFELY ~ Always store your jewelry safely in a soft pouch or secured in a box or drawer. Never wear your jewelry to bed and remove when sleeping.
