The written word is a form of art and writing instrument can also become expressions of art themselves. Montblanc created the "High Artistry" collection to represent craftsmanship, design and value, making writing instruments into art.

Montblanc released A Celebration Of The Taj Mahal as a homage to Shah Jahan who mandated the construction of the Taj Mahal in the golden era of the Moghul Empire, which the Taj Mahal is one of the world's most famous landmark and enduring symbols of devotion.

The present example is one of the 76 pieces limited to worldwide.

Champagne-tone gold with red lacquered inlays, mother-of-pearl, and diamonds featuring in a slightly curved shape design is inspired by a traditional Mughal dagger, an insignia of power.

The cap top is reminiscent of the dome of the Taj Mahal.

The forepart of the pen features an intricate display of traditional Mughal decorations.

While the edition does not feature a clip, a peacock feather adorns the front of this writing instrument, a reference to the peacock throne made for Shah Jahan in the early 17th century.

Selling all over the world for us the shipping is an important issue.
We use only high quality materials such as double wall cardboard boxes, extra large buble wrap, polypropylene packaging tape, pvc pipe with high resistance.
Shipment is guaranteed within 24 hours after receiving payment.
We have had some problems with our traditional shipping methods (lost packages, major slowdown in delivery) so we decided to move to Fedex Priority Service.
So, the shipping costs are now slightly more expensive (between $45 and $100 depending on destination country, volume and weight of the parcel) but the service is greatly better.
FedEx requires a telephone number (landline or mobile) on the shipping label.
For this reason we ask you to tell us your phone number on the Paypal or with an ebay message.
The attached photographs are to be considered part of the description.
