Publisher’s terracotta cloth, stamped in gilt to front cover, endleaves in yellow. Housed in later leather backed clamshell cloth by Aquarius of London.

Rebacked with original spine laid down; extremities gently rubbed and bumped; light scattered foxing to endleaves and prelims; minor uniform toning throughout, discreet early ink ownership signature to front pastedown. Very good.
