The Captain's Table Restaurant, Essex, MA 

  This is a reprint of a photo taken in 1955.  The Captain's Table "The Place to Eat" on the causeway in Essex opened in the late 1940s. Known for its excellent sea food, it remained open until August 11, 1967, when it was razed to the ground by fire. For many years The Captains Table was one of the most popular restaurants in Essex, great food and memories.
