Axis Manufacturing is pleased to offer custom CNC plasma cut BBQ grill grates or plates for any grill.    We manufacture these grill plates out of steel material that will last about 10 times the life of a cast iron grate that all manufacturers use.   Even steel wire grate can be replaced with these steel plate.    Each plate is made from plate steel that is 1/4" thick.    

This item is for use on a Wolf 36" Grill.    7 1/8" x 21" grate is included.   Five grates will add up to a cooking surface of 21" front to back x 36" wide.  Please confirm width and qty of grates when ordering.

There is a safety concern using cast iron with a porcelain coating, it has a tendency to rust and chip off and may get into your food you are cooking.     These steel grates will rust but are easily rejuvenated with a wire brush but also can be seasoned like cast iron cookware.     Seasoning is a process of cleaning the grill plate of food scraps and heating the grate while coating with butter or oil till a sticky or dry coating has been achieved and allowed to cool.      This will build up protection from rust and be ready for the next grilling time and is non-toxic.   One picture above shows deterioration of a porcelain coated cast iron grill grate.
