A salesman sample English ships binnacle compass signed Sestrel by Henry Browne and Son, marked Station Works Barking Essex Type A.   Quite detailed and functioning.  Brass top with gimbaled compass and iron compensating bosun balls on brass brackets.  Retaining the original metal identification tag.  In overall nice condition.  Would be a great addition to your home or cabin. Compass appears to be accurate and sits inside gimbal, displays well with a great maritime look, overall 20.5" x 14"   Email any day (see email address above---I normally check
email several times each day) for any questions you may have.
