Antique Georgian era script for The Duenna, a comic opera by Thomas Linley.  Printed for E Johnson in 1776.  An original, period printing, with remnants of a leather spine covering, which has largely disintegrated.  Please note, pages 35, 36, 37 and 38 are missing, so it’s not complete.  The pages measure approx. 21cm by 13.5cm.  The binding is fragile, and the first few pages are almost loose.  There is natural page browning, staining and foxing.  There are some pencil and pen annotations to the front page.
