Vintage Pfaltzgraff Yorktowne stoneware cream/milk/syrup/gravy pitcher 24Y

Description:  A vintage Pfaltzgraff Yorktown stoneware cream/milk pitcher with handle. Also the perfect size for syrup or for gravy.  Production model numbers 24Y. Crafted in the USA. Constructed of stoneware. Microwave and oven safe.

Pfaltzgraff’s Yorktowne is a classic pattern introduced in 1967. A deep blue, hand-applied motif adds dimension to the smooth glaze that is reminiscent of early salt-glaze techniques. Yorktowne has a country look inspired by Pennsylvania Dutch folk art motifs. The soft blue and gray blend seamlessly with timeworn antiques or your country, farmhouse or primitive decor.  Pfaltzgraff was produced in York PA starting in 1811, and continued there until production moved to China in 2005.

Maker’s Mark: The large castle with a P inside, PFALTZGRAFF c. USA.  This mark was used prior to 1977.

Dimensions: pitcher is 4.5” tall and 4.5” wide spout to handle.

ConditionEXCELLENT: No obvious defects from use. Close to new condition. No utensil marks, scratches, chips, cracks, crazing or staining. Please enlarge and examine all photos for a complete condition assessment.
