Watara Supervision Handheld Console System CIB Complete w/ 37 games (Most NIB) and MORE! Up for sale here is my complete Watara Supervision collection. I purchased it all together at one time back in 1996 (and I still have the original receipt!) I remember when back on Usenet on rec.games.video.classic, the news went out that a company in california was selling these systems & games. I called them up (no online ordering back then!) and ordered a system and one copy of every game they had. I was very excited when it arrived, since on paper, this was supposed to be a gameboy-killer. However, it turned out to be something of a disappointment as the games were just not up to snuff. I think i played with it for less than a week and opened only 8 of the games before i gave up. Since then, it has sat untouched in the original shipping box until i got it out a few weeks ago to prepare it for sale. Having been playing with it for a few days now, I have to admit the quirky ching-lish-ness of the system has grown on me and it is rightly a desirable little odd-ball of a system.

This lot includes one complete in box Watara Supervision system. You get the original box, inner styrofoam tray and lid. The box is just how it came to me with some tape on it and a barcode sticker on the front, but otherwise in excellent condition. Inside, you get the original supervision system in excellent condition (tested and works great - see the video below). It comes with the original battery cover, headphones, crystball game and instruction manuals for the supervision and the crystball game.

You also get the original two-page receipt for the purchase of the system and the games (it has my name and old address on it), plus two extra order sheets from the company (InTime International) so you could order more games (but i got one of everything they had).

In addition to the pack-in game crystball, you also get 36 other games - 28 of which are BRAND NEW NIB in the original sealed blister pack and 8 are CIB Complete in the original blister pack (including instructions and plastic game sleeve). I opened those 8 to play the games, and i was pretty careful about cutting them open along the bottom seam, so they are still extremely presentable. If you are looking at the pictures, the opened games are in the back row.

CIB (opened) games are: Chimera, Dream World, Grand Prix, Pacific Battle, Po Po Team, Scaffolder, Super Kong and Untouchable.

NIB (unopened) games are: Alien, Balloon Fight, Carrier, Challenger Tank, Climber, Dancing Block, Delta Hero, Eagle Plan, Earth Defender, Fatal Craft, Galactic Crusader, Happy Pairs, Hero Hawk, Honey Bee, John Adventure, Juggler, Kabi-Island, Linear Racing, Magincross, Olympic Trials, Pyramid, Recycle Design, Super Block, Super Pang, Thunder Shooting, Tennis Pro '92, Treasure Hunter and Witty Kat.

This lot also includes some special extras - a large green button that says "I Have Supervision" and a brand-new never-opened Supervision wrist watch. The watch is analog and probably needs a new battery. The face was glued on and has slipped out of alignment, but it should be easy to fix. Those were included as freebies with my order.

Also, I should note that the receipt says i also ordered a 6V DC adaptor for the supervision, but i don't know what happened to that and it is not included.

I have looked on ebay and this is BY FAR the nicest superivision package available (including current and recently sold), not only in the number of games (and number of NIB games), but also in terms of provenance. You are buying this system from the original owner (with the original receipt!) who can vouch for the fact that it hasn't been played much and has basically been in storage since november of 1996.

Please be sure to check out the short video i have included as well as all 17 pictures i have attached to this listing below...

Here's a short video of the Supervision playing some Crystball:

I'm an old-school collector of videogames and I've finally decided its time to downsize my (massive) collection. My collection runs from the original ODYSSEY home system, pongs and other dedicated systems, through the classic atari 2600 (intellivision, colecovision, 5200, etc), also early home computer systems and games (atari 400/800, commodore, apple, etc) up to the early CD based systems (like jaguar CD and amiga CD32). I also collected tabletops, handhelds and other electronic toys from back in the day. In the coming months, i will be listing *lots* of great stuff for sale, but if you are looking for something specific, feel free to contact me and i can see if i can dig it out and list it. Otherwise, just keep an eye on this space for more to come!

Hey there, be sure to check out all my other listings for more great items like this. Lotsa NEAT stuff and GREAT buys! And remember, I'm always happy to combine multiple items to save shipping costs!
